Pressure Washing Contractors Earn Good Money

November 30th, 2009

Pressure washing homes can offer a very good income even during poor economic times. The key to success is having a good business plan and a good attitude.  In most cases, pressure washing is one of the most dreaded jobs for homeowners especially so if they have to rent equipment. Everyone likes the idea of having clean looking homes, but most simply hate the idea of buying equipment. A Pressure Washing business is a very profitable home business. First and foremost is the fact that it is a real business and the business does not require renting a store front. Secondly, the business is easily worked part or full time depending upon the owner’s schedule. Pressure washing contractors often work in the field for before taking the step of going into business for themselves. Through the years I’ve helped more then a few cleaners start their own successful pressure washing businesses. An energetic man or woman will learn the trade from an established pressure washing contractor by working in the field. Once learning the tricks of the trade, there is little reason to continue as an employee.

When starting a pressure washing business, you cannot be afraid of hard work. Most people who go into business for themselves have dreams of sitting behind a desk or just supervising their own work crews. There is nothing wrong with this approach but another approach, especially during poor economic times is work at keeping your business small and profitable. With hard work, a small operation can prove to be most profitable. To make it in business, one needs a good daily schedule and must be a dependable worker. After all, when working for yourself, there is no one to take up any slack. But being your own boss has many rewards

After one makes the commitment that is needed, they should follow a specific power washing business business plan. If you do not seek proper guidance it is too easy to overspend in areas of tools and equipment or advertising. A good pressure washing business guide will provide direction in the area of what tools and equipment are really necessary as well as where to find appropriate and low cost advertising. The failure rate of new businesses can be very depressing and most times it is due to having no business plan.

Picking a Good Guinea Pig Hutch

November 29th, 2009

Did you know that of all the guinea pig supplies you are going to need, the most essential one to maintaining a guinea pig healthy and happy revolves around your guinea hutch?

That is right and the hutch is far and away the largest investment you will make in terms of money spent for your guinea pig so you better make sure you do this properly so you can have a healthier and happier guinea pig for years to come!

The first factor you need to think about when choosing a hutch is the size. Think about your pet for a moment here… guinea pigs are playful and enjoy running around. A small hutch means not very much running and the running you are completing takes place within your toilet. This is not a enjoyable thought for anyone.

I am not saying that the guinea hutch has to be so big that it consumes a room, however, do make confident that you get a cage big enough for your guinea to both take cover (use as a cave) and run around (to get some exercise).

If you have the room, a 4′ x 4′ guinea pig hutch would be perfect… but don’t buy one any smaller than 2′ x 2′.  However, if you have more than one guinea, you need to stick with a larger cage. Remember, if your guinea pig (just as with other pets) doesn’t have the ability to play and exercise, then you will have a fat pet which can lead to health problems and depression.

When looking for a hutch one other part you should keep in mind is that it has a solid floor.  A solid floor is a lot better than a wired floor.  If you use your imagination for a minute, you are able to come up with many reasons why a wired botton would not be satisfactory for your pet or for you. The most widespread type of a bottom in a guinea pig cage is a plastic floor. This solid bottom is a lot easier to clean and take care of. As a bonus, if you can purchase one that slides in and out with ease you are going to be a lot happier over the course of time.

Something that a lot of people don’t think about as they are looking at hutches is the door. You want to focus on to this detail and be certain that you (or the person with the largest hand in your house) is able to get your hand within the hutch and are able to move throughout the the cage easily. You don’t want to be struggling when you are required to get in there!

Once your cage is decided upon, you will want to decide what type of bedding you are going to utilize. I have used just about all types of bedding available and hands down I will always choose a product called Timothy Hay. This is extremely safe for your guinea pig and they love to play in the hay and will even consume it. As well as the bedding you will want to consider purchasing a few toys for your guinea. These can be places for him/her to hide and to play . You will be able to aquire things such as balls, rocks, large PVC pipes, spinning wheels, etc. Become creative and make your guinea pig cage a fun place for your guinea to play and sleep!

Avoid Foreclosure and Keep Your House Rent Free Forever

November 28th, 2009

“Saving a home from foreclosure requires fast and informed action but the solution doesn’t need to be costly,” announced Federal Reserve Governor Elizabeth A Duke. “It shouldn’t hurt to get help.” There are several foreclosure guides available online which assist the homeowner in understanding their options to avoid foreclosure.

Many solicitors of foreclosure schemes reach out to potential victims by a variety of means using the web, the telephone, and direct mailings. Some barristers go door-to-door or approach house owners at events related to home preservation. The information the Fed Reserve is providing, which is part of its “5 Tips” series, is intended to give purchasers the basic information they need to recognize and stop foreclosure avoidance scams. Consumers are urged to check the certifications of counselors and to avoid working with someone who collects a fee before providing any services or accepts payment only by assistant’s check or wire transfer. Shoppers should not pay for a service without knowing precisely what they are buying.

Avoiding foreclosure can’t be guaranteed–regardless of the circumstances. Working with a bonafide advisor can increase the chances of keeping a home, but clients should be careful of folks that tell them it is a sure thing. Details of the transaction, along with any promises, should be supplied up front and in writing.
